Heat warning for zone 10b: Zone 10b summer nights commonly exceed 75°F, which stalls pollination and causes blossom drop in Tomato at the height of summer (University of Maryland Extension, via UDel Cooperative Extension). Expect a slow patch for fruit set during the hottest stretch even though the plant keeps growing. It typically resumes once nights cool.
